Things I Want To Tell My Younger Self

Things I Would Tell My Younger Self

These are some of the things that I would tell my younger self if I had the chance.

The Argument Isn't Worth It - Look for the positives. That argument isn't worth having and is only going to make everything worse. Take a step back and look at it all from a different angle.

Don't Stay Up So Late - Those late nights aren't helping your brain. You should get off your computer and be asleep around 10pm every night. That way you are far more refreshed for whatever lies ahead the next day.

Never Be Afraid To Have A Dream - There is nothing wrong with having a dream no matter how big or small.

You Will Own A Dog One Day - Don't be worrying that you don't have one of your very own now as the time will come when you are older.

Don't Be So Shy - You should have a little more confidence. There are already so many negatives in the world, stop focusing on the ones you think you have and work on loving yourself. You will find there are far more positives than negatives.

You Are Smart Enough - Comparing yourself to other people is never going to get you anywhere. You are capable of anything you put your mind to and you are definitely smart enough to do anything you want to do.

Whoa Enough Black Eyeliner - You will always love wearing black eyeliner but you don't have to cover your entire eyeballs in the stuff, a subtle top eyelid line will be quite enough!

Who Cares What Other People Really Think - What people think isn't that important is it? You are individual and are allowed to do, say and think exactly how you want to!

Enjoy Being A Child, Adulthood Comes All Too Fast - Embrace your childhood, it will be gone in the blink of an eye. Adulthood is scary and complicated, enjoy the simplicity that childhood brings.

What would you tell your younger self?

These are the best days of our life
