Make-Up Revolution Fixing Spray Review

Make-Up Revolution, Make-Up, Setting Spray, Pro-Fix, Oil Control

Looking around Superdrug for me can be a dangerous thing, especially when they have such good offers on quality brands. I recently talked about the Make-Up Revolution palette that I picked up and absolutely loved. The same day I also picked up their Pro-Fix Oil Control Fixing Spray.

I have wanted to try a fixing/setting spray for a while as when the summer months begin to come in I tend to have problems with my make-up not melting off my face. I wanted to try a reasonably priced one first to ensure that it worked before splashing out a little more money on something more expensive.

I spotted the Make-Up Revolution one and at the great price of £5 I thought that I would pick this little beauty up. I picked up the oil control version as when my face warms up it tends to make everything slightly more oily.

The first thing I wanted to see from this product was that it reduced the powdery look of the products on my face. I tend to use powder bronzers and highlighters, rather than creams as this is what appeals to me more. This did this immediately. It made everything look very natural on my skin. It left my highlighter very glowy and just beautiful. I was very impressed!!

It also holds my make-up in place very well. The only place I have a problem is around the bridge of my nose where my glasses sit. No matter what I do when I am warm it always seems to wear the make-up away. I think this is more to do with my glasses and less to do with my make-up so I didn't judge this product on this area. The rest of my face held up so well. I gave this a good test on my birthday night out where I went to a night club. The whole night my make-up stayed in place and never budged. No matter how warm I got - this is just amazing to me.

The only drawback I have with this product is the smell. It is very chemically and if i'm honest just not nice at all. It doesn't however put me off the product. Once I spray it on the smell is there for a few seconds but gone once the product has dried in which happens moments later.

All in all I think for £5 that this product is more than worth the money. It is a brilliant way to step foot into the setting spray world. It does everything that I would expect from a setting spray.

Have you tried this spray?
Would you recommend any setting sprays for me to try?

A whole new world is just a setting spray away!
