Whether she wants it to be shared or not - can you tell I don't care - my beautiful mum turns 50 today. She has been with me, guiding me through every inch of my life since the day I was born and I thought it would be a great time to write down the 50 things she has taught me.
1. Never be afraid to say no
2. Everybody is equal no matter who or what they are
3. Be true to yourself, no matter how hard it can be
4. As long as you try your best the outcome is inconsequential
5. There is nothing a hug from your mum can't cure
6. There is no such thing as normal
7. You always have to make your own mistakes
8. Mistakes are good as long as you learn from them
9. If you don't try, how will you know you can't do it?
10. Always go with your gut, it's never usually wrong
11. There is nothing in life you can't share with your parents
12. You are never too old to learn something new
13. Life is too short
14. Giving is better than receiving
15. How to laugh
16. Creativity comes in many forms
17. If you can cook/bake/make it yourself, then do
18. Never make a promise you cannot keep
19. Always be kind to an animal
20. Watch Christmas movies all year round
21. Never let a man belittle you
22. Don't study when you are tired
23. Always eat when you are hungry, don't stick to timings
24. Together we can accomplish anything
25. If you can complete the task today, then do
26. Never go to bed on a row
27. Making lists is important
28. It's never too cold to have the fan on

Well there we have it. 50 things that my beautiful mummy has taught m over the years. I am so proud of her and feel so blessed and lucky that she is my mum.
