A couple of months ago - yes I was planning ahead - I was doing some research for some Blogmas inspiration and I came across the Christmas Blog Tag on Bad With Directions. I thought it would be a fun post to put up on the blog so here we go!
1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
Oh this is so hard for me there are so many movies I love but I think it's not really Christmas without the Muppets so A Muppets Christmas Carol and probably White Christmas.
2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Yes! A number of years ago good old Northern Ireland hit -15 and we had snow and ice. It would have been lovely if my family and I didn't have to travel in it!
3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
My parents and my mums relatives all get together at my parents house - which is still my house!
4. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Fairytale of New York - The Pogues
5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
When I was younger we used to do all of our presents on Christmas Eve as we went to my dads side of the family on Christmas Day. Now we do it whichever day my dad finishes his shifts at work.
6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Doner and Blitzen - oh and Ruldoplh!!
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Not working! Normally I am working the day after Boxing Day but not this year!
8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake! We put our tree up at the start of November so we need a fake one!
9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
Cheese board - all the cheese.
10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
I love giving presents to those I love but I have to I admit I love seeing what people get me. Although I wouldn't be upset if I never received anything!
11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
Possibly tickets to swim with Dolphins at Discovery Cove in Orlando.
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
I've seen NYC in the summer so I would love to see it in the winter. Would be amazing!
13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I am pretty good if I do say so myself!!
14. Most memorable Holiday moment?
Probably spending two Christmas days in Orlando. The first time I was in an RV in a trailer park and it was something that not everyone can say they have done.
15. What made you realise the truth about Santa?
I have no idea when I stopped believing so I have no clue!
16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
No, I just feel disappointed in myself if I do and don't keep them so I just have life goals now!
17. What makes the holidays special for you?
Having my family around me. I have quite a small family and some of my family members are getting quite old. I don't know how many Christmases I have left with everyone so I treasure each one!
